Give respect to our first Transformation Tuesday Soldier, PFC Ortiz. Check out his Army story: “I’m PFC. Ortiz and I am a 13R which is a Field Artillery Firefinder Radar Operator. I joined the Future Soldier training back in November 2016 and shipped out to fort Jackson June 2017. Before I joined I was way out of shape. I got in because I passed tape at 22%. I was 230lb only doing 30Pu, 35 sit-ups, and a 18:30 2mile. I went down to 189lb doing 89PU, 75 Sit-ups, and 14:30 2 mile. Lately I’ve been trying to go further down and gain more muscle. The people around me give me roads that I can go on to be more successful and I have many options. I’m starting college soon using my TA so I won’t have to use any of my GI bill and can save it for when I get out. I plan on getting an Aviation degree so I can go to airlines and fly the big planes or utilize the Army’s WOFT program.”
Don’t forget to contact us in order to be our next Transformation Tuesday Soldier or Veteran. We want to hear and help share your stories of success!
